A winning $50,000 “Powerball” ticket was sold for the drawing on Monday, July 3 at an area Sheetz gas station, though it remains unclaimed days later, according to Lottery officials.
The winning numbers were: 15-37-50-55-69 with a Powerball of 09.
Officials said the winning third-tier “Double Play” ticket was sold at Sheets on Eastern Boulevard North in Hagerstown.
“Double Play” is a second drawing that takes place about 30 minutes after the initial Powerball drawing that can be added for an additional dollar and has a top prize of $10 million.
There were a total of 19,549 winning “Powerball” tickets sold in Maryland on Monday, with prizes ranging from $4 to $100, including the big five-figure winner that was sold in Hagerstown.
Winners have 182 days to claim their prize. The "Powerball" jackpot remains unclaimed and will rise to nearly $550 million for the drawing on Wednesday, July 5.
